Application Guideline
Pay attention that
the application surface is dry, clean, uniform and strong.
Spread izocoat Astar
to the surface. Make adhesion as heating the membrane and coat with the oxyacetylene
burner after the coat dried. Make corbelling as minimum 10 cm. on the membrane's
jointings. Obtain perfect adhesion on the overlappings.
If the ramp of the
application surface is under %5, it is enough just to make adhesion on the overlappings.
partial adhesion can be made with the point or linear dissolves for the ramps that are up
to 40% , as they will spread to the adhesion surface homogeneously. The point and linear
dissolves must cover 50% of the adhesion surface at least. Make a completely adhered frame
on the insulated area for the applications of free adhesion and partial adhesion as 1m. at
least. Surely make full adhesion for the ramps over 40 %.
Make full adhesion
as turning the membranes that was adhered on the ground to the parapet and wall 20 cm at
least. Previously roll the ground and wall joint corners with the cant as 4-5 cm.
Surely make full
adhesion of the second coat on the first coat while applying the second coat membrane.
Spread the second
coat membrane as it will center the first coat corbellings as confusing.
Start to the
application as spreading the membrane parallely to the stream, from stream face, on the
pitched surfaces. If the internal surface od the stream will also be insulated, start to
coating from here.
Apply the protection
layer (covering, concrete, wall, heat insulation plate, etc.) on it to protect the
insulation membranes against to the atmospheric and mechanical effects. If Al foiled
membranes had been applied on roofs that is not walked on it, no need to use the
protective coating.
Warnings
Store the bitumen
membranes in closed areas as right angle.
Keep the membranes
away from the heat resources.
Do not store the
bitumen membrane rolls as rough and tumble..
Wait the bitumen
membrane roll for 24 hours over + 5 0C before the application in winters. |
